Tecno Nigeria recently announced the release of the third smartphone in the SPARK series, SPARK 3 .

And there is already a buzz about the SPARK 3’s camera.
Tecno claims that the SPARK 3 camera was designed with an A.I. (Artificial intelligence) to enable customers get clear and beautiful pictures.

Speaking at the launch of the device in Lagos , the Brand Manager, Tecno Nigeria, Luke Pan, in his welcome remarks, said the SPARK 3 was a product of intensive research to provide users with a better photography experience .
“We are proud to announce the release of Tecno SPARK 3 series. Equipped with the latest A.I. technology… SPARK 3 takes photography to a whole new level as it is a by – product of rigorous research of many human faces. Come and try SPARK 3 series , the A.I. beauty mode will blow your mind , ” Pan said.

Before a closer look at SPARK 3’s AI camera, remember that Artificial intelligence (A.I.) simply refers to the ability of your phone to perform certain impressive features… A.I. basically grants a phone a certain degree of sentiency.

In the year 2011, Tecno Mobile built the Nigeria Imaging Research Center and initiated Tecno Face Study Program. This program focuses on researching on people’s face. The number of faces studied so far is reported to have reached 1,000,000. Tecno assigned over 2000 employees globally to research camera features. The product of such expansive research is the SPARK 3’s camera.
The camera has an A.I. beauty mode, A.I. soft light selfie, AI selfie camera, Backlight HDR, Adjustable flashlights, amongst other features.

SPARK 3 can also recognize different face features and tones. Essentially it gives the most suitable level of ‘re-touch’ and ‘lighting’ automatically to your photos, including skin polishing, dispelling of freckles… And removing acnes from your photo.

SPARK 3 AI camera can also cover 18 face dimensions to enable 3D face fine-tuning. It also helps to enhance hair contrast and colour saturation; highlights your forehead, nose and lips. Basically, you get a beautiful photo in just one second without having make-up on.

This new technology unlocks your device within milliseconds and ensures that vital information saved on the device does not come in contact with unauthorized persons. When you lift the phone, the phone screen will automatically light up and is unlocked by your face right away
