Paul Allen the owner of Seahawks and the co-founder of Microsoft died October 15, 2018. He suffered from a terrible pain caused by a septic shock which leads to his death.
The mayo clinic describes septic shock as the third and final stage of sepsis, it occurs when chemicals are released by the body to fight off infections trigger inflammation instead, setting off organ failures that leads to death. This chemical can cause terrible pains in the body, especially the muscles.
The conditions of his septic shock and immunosuppression were resulted from his lingering non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which returned after being treated in the year 2009.
He have been treated of this conditions three times until cancer returned recently.
Paul Allen said that he intended to “fighting this aggressively”, “a lot has happened in medicine since I overcame this disease in 2009. My doctors are optimistic that I will see good results from the latest therapies, as am I” Paul Allen wrote on his blog weeks ago before he died.
Paul Allen neglected his treatment and he focused more on his interests such as Vulcan, the Allen institutes, the Seahawks and trail blazers.
Paul Allen intended to consider buying the Chelsea football club days before he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Bill Gates the founder of Microsoft explained his providential meeting with Paul allen in 7th grade .“Paul deserved more time in life. He would have made the most of it. I will miss him tremendously.”
The tech community really mourned the death of Paul Allen.
